My Word for 2025 was IGNITE... And Here's What Happened Next

At the start of this year, I chose a word to guide me: IGNITE.

I had no idea just how literally the universe would take that.

Because somewhere between the workshops, the conversations, the brave questions, and the quiet moments… a spark turned into something bigger.
And that spark became The Reignite Room — a space for educators to come together, reflect deeply, question gently, and reconnect with what lights them up.

I didn’t plan it this way.
But maybe that’s the magic of ignition.
You strike the match… and the path reveals itself.

A Community of Courage and Curiosity

Launching the membership has been one of the most energising moments of my year.

Serving a group of like-minded educators who are open to exploring how we think, feel, and respond to the world around us has been profound.
These are teachers who aren’t chasing “perfect.”
They’re choosing “aware.”
They’re choosing “intentional.”
They’re choosing human.

And that — to me — is the new wave of teacher wellbeing.

Not fluff.
Not quick fixes.
Not one more thing to do.

But honest conversations, shared language, and tiny shifts that change everything.

What’s Next

The doors to The Reignite Room will open again at the end of January, 2026.
If you’re ready to be part of this next chapter — this movement toward sustainable, evidence-informed, human-centred wellbeing in education — I would love to welcome you in.

Set your calendar for 23rd Jan, 2026 and stay tuned.

And if now isn’t your season?
That’s okay.
You’re still part of this community, this conversation, this collective spark.

As We Close the Year

Wherever you’re landing right now — depleted, hopeful, mixed, or somewhere in the grey middle — I want to remind you:

You deserve the break that’s coming.
Truly.

So as you step into the holidays, may you:

✨ Spend your energy wisely
✨ Reflect meaningfully
✨ Connect with the people who hold your heart gently

Because that’s where we refill.
That’s where we remember who we are.
That’s where we reignite.
